Frozen Water Pipe Protector
Will Last For Many Years
Don't Wait For Harsh Weather
Introducing ICE-LOC®, a unique and innovative product that helps
prevent water pipes
from rupturing. ICE-LOC® can prevent the growth of
toxic molds associated with pipe rupture.
This patented product can be used in new, existing and pre-manufactured homes.
Other applications include: recreational vehicles, mobile homes, and commercial
buildings. Mobile home water supply lines as well as above ground lines which are very
susceptible to rupture in cold conditions. You will always find a problem area
to protect. A real solution to frozen water lines
that could rupture.
Remember, when your pipes freeze, if the ice doesn't have a place to expand,
it will surely burst a pipe or a fitting. You'll know when the water starts
to flood.

Industrial applications for ICE-LOC® include its use in supply lines, sensitive
control devices. These types of sensors and devices are
damaged by the severe pressure exerted by the expansion of water as it
transitions to ice,
ICE-LOC® can reduce this pressure when used in these
lines. The
price of replacing any of these control devices is much higher than a one time
fix with ICE-LOC®, not including down
time for repair.
Current Situation:
Water pipes rupture because water occupies a larger volume when frozen. If the temperature stays below freezing long enough, the temperature inside the pipe will eventually equal the outside temperature even with insulation. Before ICE-LOC® there was never a pipe protection technology that was so simple and economical, that actually could protect a
frozen water pipe from rupturing when frozen solid. The FDA® approved elastomeric
(Non Contaminating Grade) core material will help protect a frozen pipe from bursting and will last for many years.
The elastomer is made from a formula that is excellent for abusive
harsh water applications.
The
material is a PROPRIETARY formula that withstands multiple ice crushing freeze cycles without
falling apart in your pipes.
Using the wrong elastomer can deteriorate
with continued freeze cycles, plugging up your water system as the improper
material falls apart.
The anchor clip is made from 302 stainless spring steel.
Electric pipe wrap traditionally used to prevent pipe failure can loose power. Electric pipe wrap should never be placed in a wall where you cannot service this product, it can become an electrical fire hazard. Applied, a 20 ft length of pipe wrap may only service 7-10 ft of pipe, making it an uneconomical alternative to
ICE-LOC®. Remember, the electric heat cable
pipe wrap is
useless when you experience an ice storm or other power interrupters and all
electrical is lost
for several days.
The time to apply ICE-LOC® is during more favorable weather conditions when
pipes and plumbing are much easier to work with.
According to Insurance
Information Network of California (INC), frozen and ruptured
Water pipe damage to homes, business and commercial properties, is second behind
Hurricanes in the United States.
ICE-LOC® can save thousands of dollars by preventing accidents such as a ruptured
˝ inch copper pipe that can dump hundred’s of gallons water in just a few hours.
If you ever break a water pipe, mold will almost always grow in the dampened
areas. It is virtually impossible to remove the mold without expensive renovation.
Mold has been known to cause serious medical conditions. Congress has even
passed a bill over this serious concern: H.R. 5040 The United States Toxic Mold Safety and Protection Act ("The Melina Bill").
Here is another important reason to use ICE-LOC®
The installation of ICE-LOC® in outside water faucets, can greatly reduce the chance
of a rupture to surrounding pipes. It is very easy to remove outside water faucets with
water with the water turned off and to insert the ICE-LOC® core.
Remember, it is much easier to service your plumbing in more favorable
conditions than to wait until the cold of winter when damage occurs.
These are some of the cold states that have the highest statistics for ruptured
pipe damage in the US , NY , MI , Il , MN , ME , OK , KS , OR , OH , PA , MO , ND , MA ,

The info is gathered only from insured properties.
Statistics would be much higher if uninsured values were known.
